Must be house-trained, well-behaved, and up to date on vaccinations. - Maximum 2 dogs - Vaccination records required (rabies, distemper, bordetella) - Undeclared pets: May result in immediate cancellation without refund - Dogs must not be left unsupervised - Not permitted in pool area - Please clean up after your dog and wipe paws before entering - No dogs on furniture unless covered with guest's blanket - Any pet damage charged to guest 🏊 POOL RULES (Seasonal: June - September) - Pool hours: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM - No diving — shallow end only - Children must be supervised at all times by an adult - No glass, breakables, or sharp objects in pool area - Pool furniture and loungers included with your stay - Swim at your own risk - no lifeguard on duty; owners are not liable for injuries. - Unsafe pool use may result in eviction without refund and suspension of future bookings 🔥 FIRE PIT RULES - Fires must be attended at all times , never leave unattended - Only use seasoned firewood, no trash or accelerants - Keep fires away from structures and vegetation - Fully extinguish all fires before bed or leaving the property - Violation of fire safety rules may result in eviction without refund 🎉 EVENTS & CELEBRATIONS Small celebrations welcome with prior approval. Please reach out to host to discuss further. 📋 GUEST DECLARATIONS & COMPLIANCE What must be declared at booking: - All pets (dogs) - Total guest count (max occupancy strictly enforced) - Intended use and any special requests - Any accessibility needs Consequences of Non-Compliance: - Undeclared pets: May result in immediate cancellation without refund - Occupancy violations (extra guests): Eviction without refund + potential additional fees - Unregistered overnight guests: May result in booking cancellation 🚗 PARKING - 6 vehicles maximum - Park only on the driveway and parking lot of the property 🏖️ BEACH & OUTDOOR AREAS - Please rinse sand off before entering the house - Return all beach equipment to its designated place and do not bring it inside the house 🎮 OUTDOOR GAMES & ACTIVITIES - Feel free to enjoy outdoor games and activities available on the property - Please return all outdoor game equipment to its proper storage location after use 🔧 PROPERTY CARE & DAMAGE - Please report any damage or issues immediately - Accidents happen — we appreciate prompt communication - Unreported damage may result in additional charges ♻️ TRASH & RECYCLING - Dispose of all trash using trash bags - Do not leave trash bags inside the house - Separate recyclable trash (#1-7 plastics, cardboard, metal cans, glass) from non-recyclable waste using the provided recycling bins Historic Property Care - Mind your step on 200-year-old heart pine floors, especially in doorways - Watch your head at the historic low beam entrance (one bedroom) - Do not tamper with plexiglass enclosures on preserved servant staircase - Do not hang items from or lean on historic beams - No nails, tape, or adhesive on walls or historic woodwork Toiletries & Linens - Eco-friendly refillable dispensers provided: shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion - Complimentary coffee (medium), creamer, sugar - Please bring: toothbrush, toothpaste, razors, deodorant, skincare, medications - Use dark washcloths for makeup removal — do not use white towels - No hair coloring or dyeing allowed anywhere on property 👋 DEPARTURE - COMMON COURTESY - Please leave the property as you found it - Tidy up before checkout - Remove all personal belongings - Remove all food from the refrigerator and freezer - Dispose of all trash in outside bins (during extreme winter, trash can is on the porch itself) - Start dishwasher before leaving - Set the thermostat on cooling at 72°F (summer) or on heating at 68°F (winter) - Turn off lights, return beach tags to hook at the hallway - Lock all doors and windows; - Make sure no gas burners, faucets, or showers are left running
